Where Yvonne Stands
Three priorities. One united District 10.
Equitable Healthcare
Expanding access, lowering costs, and closing care gaps across every neighborhood.
Public Education
New technology, stronger teachers, and a better future for every inner-city child.
Public Safety
Smart, community-rooted strategies that build trust and reduce harm.
Issues I Care About
Education
Education opens doors to opportunity, strengthens communities, and prepares future generations to lead. Yvonne believes every student deserves access to a high-quality education that equips them for success.
Mental Health
Mental health is health. Yvonne is committed to reducing stigma, expanding access to care, and ensuring that individuals and families receive the support they need to thrive.
Hidden Disabilities
Many disabilities are not immediately visible. Yvonne advocates for greater awareness, accessibility, inclusion, and understanding for individuals living with hidden disabilities and chronic health challenges.
Civic Engagement
Strong communities require engaged citizens. Yvonne believes in empowering people to participate in the democratic process and helping future leaders find their voice.

Public service is a calling.
Public service is not simply a career for me. It is a calling to help people solve problems, strengthen communities, and create opportunities for future generations.
Throughout my life, I have seen the power of education, mentorship, faith, and civic engagement to transform lives. Those experiences shaped my belief that leadership is not about titles or positions. It is about service.
Whether I am working on public policy, supporting community organizations, mentoring young leaders, or advocating for Maryland families, my goal remains the same: to leave every community stronger than I found it.
I believe that when people are empowered with knowledge, opportunity, and hope, anything is possible.
